A Family Reunited

We have great news to share with you!

We have confirmed that a family who has been separated from each other for the past six months by immigration policies will be moving in to our Brooklyn cooperative home later this month. The solidarity room will be a space of family reunification and provide some measure of stability as the course of their asylum application moves forward. Thank you so much to all of you who have donated to our GoFundMe campaign (https://www.gofundme.com/solidarity-room-project-of-3a) as a way to contribute to a new chapter in this family's life.

We still have not raised enough money to cover the funds we need through the summer. Please share our fundraising campaign with friends you think might want to donate.

If you are interested in making monthly contributions to provide rent, food, utilities, and incidentals for this project, consider becoming a member here: https://withfriends.co/the_solidarity_room_project/join

And if you need to get in touch with us, our email contact is SolidarityRoomProject at riseup dot net
